This should be one of the best Certain Dri reviews out there, because I have used both the roll-on and solid versions of the product myself for quite some time and I only have good things to say about it – but there are some quirky things you certainly need to understand about it before you give it a chance. First, I must say that this is perhaps my favorite product on the market for stopping sweat. There’s a bit of a catch that isn’t necessarily bad, but is something you need to know before you start to use the product for yourself. Let’s continue.
Certain Dri Roll-On Anti-Perspirant
For me, this is the best product I have ever used to stop my excessive perspiration, HOWEVER, the number one thing that I have noticed with this product that one should keep in mind is that the effect is not instant, that is to say, that once you apply the product you magically will not stop sweating. That’s very important to remember. I’ve found that it can take anywhere from 12-24 hours for the product to take effect, and this is certainly understandable and OK with me in my books. If I use this product for a couple of days in a row it will completely stop my perspiration for me if I combine it with a good deodorant. I would say that on a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being what I’d call a really, really bad sweating problem) I come in at around a solid 7 or 8 and sometimes higher if it’s hot outside. I can drench the pits of a shirt so badly that the rings can cover my chest if I don’t use any type of deodorant or anti-perspiration.
Since I do a lot of weight training, I notice that it can be awkward that I actually will stop sweating entirely even during heavy workouts. For the first few hours after the application of Certain Dri I’ve even noticed a bit of a weird burning or tingling sensation which other users have also reported.
Before we move on I just want to mention one quick point:
I’ve always applied the Certain Dri Roll-On at night! This is as per the directions of the product but either way I find that the nighttime is the best time for application since it does indeed take that initial period of 12-24 hours for it to take effect.
Certain Dri Solid Anti-Perspirant
As much as I love the roll-on version of Certain Dri, I actually don’t like the solid version at all. It just isn’t for me. My problem with it is that it’s the strongest smelling type of deodorant that I have ever used. It’s actually a little bit intrusive on the nostrils of not only myself, but others. I’ve watched people I’ve come into contact with break out into full-on allergy attacks and I feel the same way myself at times. I just don’t even want to bother with the solid version since the roll-on version is unscented and leaves no weird smell. Perhaps this works great for other people, but it’s just not for me. I typically will use the Certain Dri roll-on with another type of anti-perspirant that is formulated to deal with heavy sweating and that seems to work for me.

My Closing Thoughts on this Certain Dri Review
I love Certain Dri but I don’t always use it. Something about the powerful effect this product has almost scares me and I don’t believe it’s quite natural to go days and days without being to sweat from my armpits. Sometimes I feel combining this with traditional sweat pads when needed will work great, however, something still scares me about permanently blocking off my ability to sweat. I am certainly not a doctor nor do I intend for this to be medical advice and maybe I am being paranoid for no reason. But this product is so effective as to scare me into not using it constantly because it has such a profound and powerful effect.
